At Filipino Home Cooking school our cook is your guide to sourcing preparing and demonstrating how to cook some of the most currently underrated healthy and tasty dishes in the world

We offer 2 meneus ,the FIESTA ,and the ROYAL FEAST both fun to learn to cook !
The Fiesta includes these all time Filipino favorites;
HUMBA - This is a lovely combination of Banana blossom flower,star anise,lauren, black beans, and lean pork
GINISANG MONGGO For this version we slow cook super fresh fish cool them down and add to a mix of cooked mung beans,onions,garlic and some finely shredded cabbage
BEEFSTEAK this has got to be the most misnamed dish in the Philippines,sure beef is used but its sliced really thinly,around 2mm or 1/12th of an inch it is then marinated in soy sauce,calamansi, (Philippine lime juice ) garlic, and black pepper.
Gently pan fried and simmered in its sauce with onion rings added later,time and time again the Philippine cookery trick by clever use of the super thinly sliced beef releases an explosion of flavor, smallish amounts of beef are used and makes this dish a really healthy as well as tasty one.Its my favorite Filipino dish which is why it appears on both menu choices,we can prepare the recipe using Native chicken or pork steak as well
For the fish dish we suggest 2 options BUTTER GARLIC SHRIMP,or PAN FRIED FISH
THE ROYAL MENU INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
FISH Escabeche Sweet and sour fish, we use fresh pineapple,both for the juice and slices, super thin slices of carrot a mixture of apple and cane vinegar onions garlic and ginger completes the package
PORK RIBS CALDERETA This dish includes potatoes carrots onions bell peppers garlic black pepper soy sauce and tomato sauce.
